I’ve been a multimedia designer with 20+ years of experience beginning in the commercial arts in the Seattle area, I was a packaging graphics designer for a global retailer for 9 years. Within the first 2 years there I was beginning a freelance career, serving small business development. Throughout my career, I have been involved in community-building projects, and in-house assignments that continue to influence my art, with multiple stakeholders and a lot of moving parts.
In 2015, my work drastically shifted into activism and action. We simply don’t have time to mess around, so I have devoted as much energy and career direction as possible towards food and nutrition security. This is an area that touches every area in community work I am passionate about.
Serve people, serve planet, live more lightly upon the land we share. Work to heal land, community relationships and hopefully, overall negate some measure of suffering for communities who are continually impacted.
I have had great opportunities to learn from and work with many people, many communities. Though I am young at heart, in 43 years I’ve lived through some things, and am more committed than ever to co-creating resilience in this time for those coming after me and my generation, grateful for the hard work of those who’ve come before me.
I’ve also had the great experience of working with some epic artists, small business owners, non-profits, cooperatives, and volunteer orgs.
